The order of ceremonies

Five functions, five favours. Tell us how many guests you’re expecting and each card below works out its price from our bulk rates.

  1. Four orange motichoor laddu candles

    Day one, morning

    Haldi

    Turmeric, marigolds and a courtyard full of family. A laddu on every plate that looks like mithai and smells of rose or jasmine.

    Day one, evening

    Mehendi

    While the henna dries and the dholak gets going, a lotus for every guest, each in its own printed gift box.

  3. Dark wooden jar candle topped with petals and gold flakes

    Day two, evening

    Sangeet

    After the last song, something to keep: soy wax in a wooden jar, scented with Royal Kashmiri Zafran or Island Oasis.

  4. Metal urli candle in a shallow eight-lobed gold tin, with dried purple petals and lavender at one edge and gold flakes

    Day three, at the muhurat

    Pheras

    Seven rounds of the sacred fire. Line the mandap with urlis, then send them home with your guests.
